Each of us has at least once thought about being in a place where we wouldn’t feel time. Where time feels frozen and nothing reminds you of modern city chaos and dynamic life. Surely there’s nothing wrong with a dynamic life, but sometimes we need a safe harbor where we feel connected to nature and can exchange our feelings with it. Nature can give us its power and calm spirit, which is so needed to be able to get busy again and fill up with new energy. Truso Valley is exactly a place like this. A place where you get lost in the depths of time and nature. You can walk in an almost wild valley and in the mountains and find few people around you; the only reminders of civilization are the tracks and trails left behind by visitors like you and, of course, the abandoned buildings. Small villages with traditional houses are scattered all around the Truso Valley; most of them were built at least a century ago, but they still stand and wait for their visitors. Locals come back to the village in the summer; at other times, the buildings are mostly visited by shepherds and snow.

So without further speaking, Truso Valley is a beautiful place with almost magical landscapes and views. It is definitely your place if you like hiking, mountains, and nature. There you can see abandoned villages, colorful sediment deposits from mineral waters, and glacial and river deposits. Truso Gorge is rich in carbonated mineral waters. You will also find birch forests throughout.
