Places you will visit on this tour:
Visit one of the most impressive destinations in Georgia on this one-day tour. Dashbashi Canyon, located near Tbilisi, had been a hidden natural gem for many years, while its modern tourist infrastructure was only developed in 2022. In the morning, together with your group and guide, you will head toward Tsalka, traveling along a scenic road that passes through villages, volcanic plateaus, and lush green landscapes. In about one and a half hours, you will arrive at your destination.
Here, you will have free time to enjoy a light hike down to the waterfall. The trail is of moderate difficulty and accessible to most visitors, offering many beautiful views along the way. One of the highlights of the tour is a walk across the glass bridge suspended above the canyon, where you can take in breathtaking panoramic views. If you wish, you can also try additional activities such as the swing or zipline, or visit the café located on the bridge.
After visiting the canyon, we will continue to Asureti, a charming small village known for its unique architecture. Here, you will discover a 19th-century Lutheran church (kirche), traditional German-style houses, and distinctive streets typical of German settlements. The village has a fascinating history—it was founded in 1818 by German settlers who fled religious persecution in Württemberg and resettled in the Russian Empire. You will also have time to taste local dishes, and we will make sure you try the local beer as well. In the evening, we will enjoy views of the Algeti Reservoir before returning to Tbilisi.
