Borjomi Rabati Vardzia One Day Tour

During this tour, you will visit:

In the early morning, meet your guide and driver so they can take you to the southern part of Georgia. Today, you are going to visit two very interesting museums. The first is a town from the fifteenth century. Rabati was the residence of Ottoman rulers in the XVI–XVII centuries and a slave trading center. Here you can enjoy the beauty of edifices made of marble and covered with gold. You can see the mosque, which has been remade into a Russian Orthodox Church, a fortress, and a meeting place for Shahs throughout its history.

Another stop is a XII c. city carved in a rock, Vardzia. This is a city with a church, refectory, dwelling caves, wineries, etc. An amazing place to feel the atmosphere of the Middle Ages.

On the way back, if time allows, visit Central Park of Borjomi. Enjoy beautiful views on evergreen forests in Borjomi. 

In the evening, return to Tbilisi.
