  • Start the morning with a sightseeing walking tour of historical Tbilisi. During our tour, you will see the most important parts of old Tbilisi. You’ll start the tour at Metekhi Cathedral (XIII c.) and the Isani neighborhood, which was a royal residence in the Middle Ages. It’s a perfect place to enjoy magnificent views of the old city. Then you will take a cable car to the mother fortress of Tbilisi, Narikala (VI c.), one of the first constructions in the city. From Narikala fortress, you can see the whole city and enjoy crawling on the walls of the fortress. After that, we’ll take a walk down to see the Sulphur Bath district and unique mosque, where Shia and Sunni Muslims pray together, slowly moving on towards Shardeni Street. On the way, you’ll see Sioni Cathedral (XI c.), Anchiskhati Church (VI c.), Gabriadze puppet theater, etc.

Day 3

  • In the morning, meet your driver and guide and start a tour of the wine region of Georgia, Kakheti. We begin our way to the wine region of Georgia, Kakheti. The road will take us to Sighnaghi, also called "The City of Love." We’ll take a walk through the streets of the little town. Discover the longest defensive wall in Georgia, the Wall of Sighnaghi, and enjoy unforgettable views of the Alazani valley while having lunch on the terrace of the Kabadoni hotel. The next stop is Bodbe Nunnery, the burial place of the enlightener of Georgia, Saint Nino. After, visit Tsinandali, the estate of dukes Chavchavadze, dated to the 19th century. It includes a beautiful garden and a winery. In the evening, visit a local winemaker's house near Telavi. Have a wine tasting.
  • The next stop is Telavi. Have a peaceful evening walk in Telavi. Overnight in Telavi

Day 4

  • In the morning, visit the local agricultural market in Telavi. This is a great chance to see local farmers and their produce. Here, you can find rare and interesting cheeses like Dmabali Khacho. The preparation process of this cheese is on the list of UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage. Unfiltered sunflower seed oil is very famous in the local market. After the interesting visit to Telavi Market, your first stop will be the religious center of Kakheti: Alaverdi Monastery (XI c.). There you can find the burial site of Father Joseph Alaverdeli (VI c.) and mural paintings (XI c.). Alaverdi is known for its vineyard and a long tradition of making different sorts of wines. Another destination point is the Gremi monastery and historical complex. Gremi was the capital of the Kakhetian kingdom in the XVI–XVII c. It consisted of three parts, but only the Archangels complex survived the devastating invasions of Shah-Abas I. Khareba Winery is one of the largest and most popular wineries in Georgia, and this day we will visit their tunnels too. Here, you will have a good chance to compare European and Georgian traditional wines.
  • With a pleasant mood after a wine tasting, return to Telavi. Overnight in Telavi

Day 5

  • On this day, you’ll visit an ancient capital of Georgia: Mtskheta is the former capital city of Georgia. It’s also called Second Jerusalem because of the many Christian relics preserved in the city, including Jesus Christ's tunic. The first stop is Jvari monastery (VI c.), proudly standing on the mountain, overlooking the city and its environs. Another stop will be Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (XI c.), which is significant for many things. Most importantly, Christ’s tunic is buried under the cathedral. It is also the burial place of Georgian kings, and Saint Andrew's holy parts are preserved there.
  • The Georgian Military Highway will take you towards the Caucasus Mountains. The first stop is Ananuri fortress (XIV c.). It is built on the conjoining place of two mountain rivers, overlooking the emerald-colored, Jinvali water basin dipped into the mountains. Lots of mysterious legends about those towers are still preserved by our ancestors. The road will take you towards the mountains and you will stop in the ski resort of Gudauri, where one can enjoy beautiful views of the mountains or enjoy skiing, snowboarding, or paragliding (depending on the season). Overnight in Gudauri.

Day 6

  • Explore the most northern town on our tour, Stepantsminda. Stepantsminda, or, as it is also known, Kazbegi, is located just 11 km away from the border of Russia. After arriving in Stepantsminda, visit one of the most popular churches in Georgia, Gergeti. With its location in the mountains and altitude of 2200 meters, it mesmerizes its visitors. Spend some time in the village exploring local places, and on the way back, visit Sno Valley. In Sno Valley, you can find the small village of Sno with its interesting sculptures. Explore the village and return to Gudauri, where you can enjoy a number of winter activities. Overnight in Gudauri.

Day 7

  • Start your day by meeting your guide and traveling to the central part of Georgia—Gori. Close to Gori, visit the cave town of Uplistsikhe, which is one of the oldest temple constructions in the world. Visit the museum of the Soviet dictator, Joseph Stalin. With the 60000 artifacts that are exhibited in the museum, you will see a house where he was born and his personal train. After exploring the museum, you will have free time to explore the fortress of Gori or enjoy your time in one of the local cafés. At the end of the day, you will arrive in Akhaltsikhe to have an overnight there and prepare for exploration of another very interesting historical province of Georgia, called Samtskhe-Javakheti.

Day 8

  • In the early morning, meet your guide and driver so they can take you to the southern part of Georgia. Today, you are going to visit two very interesting museums. The first is a town from the fifteenth century. Rabati was the residence of Ottoman rulers in the XVI–XVII centuries and a slave trading center. Here you can enjoy the beauty of edifices made of marble and covered with gold. You can see the mosque, which has been remade into a Russian Orthodox Church, a fortress, and a meeting place for Shahs throughout its history.
  • Another stop is a XII c. city carved in a rock, Vardzia. This is a city with a church, refectory, dwelling caves, wineries, etc. It is an amazing place to feel the atmosphere of the Middle Ages.
  • On the way back, have a photostop at Khertvisi Fortress. Return to Akhltsikhe. Overnight in Akhaltsikhe.

Day 9

  • In the morning, start your journey towards Borjomi. Borjomi is a town in southern Georgia. The town is famous for its mineral water industry (which is the number one export of Georgia), the Romanov summer palace, and Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. You will be able to walk in the park of Borjomi, which is located in the gorge between mountains and creates unforgettable views and a unique climate for this town. Therefore, Borjomi is one of the best natural resorts in Georgia. After exploring the Central Park of Borjomi and tasting its famous water, continue your way to Kutaisi. Kutaisi is the third-largest city of Georgia and a pearl of the West Georgia. First sight in Kutaisi is the Gelati Monastery Complex (XII c.). Gelati is a very popular monastery for Georgians for several reasons: 1. Gelati is on the list of UNESCO world heritage sites. 2. It was an educational center in Georgia during the Georgian Renaissance. 3. Gelati was a burial site for Georgian kings from XII–XIII c. 4. The mosaic of an alter of Gelati is unique in the whole world. 5. Only one depiction of King David the Builder is preserved on the walls of Gelati Cathedral.
  • The next stop is Bagrati Cathedral (X c.). For locals, Bagrati is the main place of worship. This is because Bagrati was built in honor of the unification of Georgia in X c. A.D. by King Bagrat (the name of the cathedral derives from the name of the king). Since then, it has served as a place of coronation for Georgian monarchs and as a religious center in Imereti.
  • Overnight in Kutaisi.

Day 10

  • Your first stop this day will be the Prometheus Caves. Caves were discovered in 1984, and since then they have been visited by thousands of tourists due to the diversity of the stones, their colorfulness, and their beauty. In Prometheus Caves, you can have a boat tour in the underground waters of Kuma. Prometheus is located close to Tskaltubo Resort. At first glance, this abandoned settlement was one of the most popular resorts in Soviet times.
  • After exploring the caves, make your way towards the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range and one of the most beautiful and distinguished provinces of Georgia, Svaneti. The center of Svaneti is a town called Mestia. Mestia is buried in traditional Svan towers called Koshki and in the highest peaks of Georgia. The road to Mestia is long, so not many activities are planned for this evening, except an evening walk in central Mestia. Overnight in Mestia.

Day 11

  • This is a day to visit Ushguli. Ushguli is the unity of four small mountain villages located in the north-western region of Georgia, Svaneti. It is a province that we call "a place without a ruler," and according to its name, the people inhabiting the lands of Ushguli had never had a ruler before. This land is known as the land of brave and courageous people. The first stop in Ushguli is a small local museum, where one can find icons, jewelry, ornaments, and military armor. The exposition mainly belongs to XII–XVI c. A.D. After visiting the museum, take a short walk in the small passages and see the traditional life of the villagers with no modern technology or equipment. Ushguli is also famous for the Towers of Queen Tamar, who was the most popular ruler in the history of Georgia, and a Tower of Love located on the bank of the river Enguri. The history of this mysterious tower is full of legends and tales, but nobody really knows the real story. Another place to visit is a small church called "Lamaria,” built in IX-X c. A.D. After having lunch, go back to Mestia.
  • Visit the ethnographic museum in Mestia. Overnight in Mestia.

Day 12

  • In the morning, take a cable car ride to the top of the mountain, Hatsvali, and enjoy the mesmerizing views of the highest peaks of Georgia: Shkhara, Tetnuldi, and Ushba. Here you can have lunch in a restaurant in Zuruldi and then continue your way back to Mestia by cable car ride again. Another museum awaits you in Mestia. This time it is a Mikheil Khergiani Museum. Mikheil was a very famous mountain climber. Visiting his house museum is a good way to get familiar with important facts from his life, see the unique Svanetian tower, and get familiar with the traditional way of life of Svanetian people.
  • After lunch, drive to Zugdidi. In the evening, you will have free time to explore the Botanical Garden of Zugdidi or the palace of the local lords, Dadiani. Overnight in Zugdidi.

Day 13

  • In the morning, we drive towards the Black Sea Coast, to one of the greenest and warmest provinces of Georgia, Adjara. Batumi is the second-largest city in Georgia, founded only in the 19th century. It is one of the most modern cities in our country and a lovely place for those who like to spend beautiful summer evenings in front of the seashore and who like greenery and a subtropical climate. In the evening, we have a sightseeing tour of Batumi. It starts with its historical sights; among them is the theater of Batumi (XIX c.). The sculpture of Medea with her Golden Fleece from the legend of “Jason and Argonauts" on the Piazza of Batumi, the biggest mosaic in Europe, obtaining an area of 106 sq. m., was created in 2010 in the Mosque of Batumi (XIX c.). After admiring the colorfulness of the mosque, narrow, cozy streets will take you to the Boulevard of Batumi, which is the longest in Georgia. Have a short walk and some free time on the boulevard; see the famous sculpture of Ali and Nino
  • After enjoying the boulevard of Batumi, a visit to the Botanical Garden awaits you. Batumi Botanical Garden is one of the most beautiful in Georgia.
